Telecommunications firm Sky has announced it is creating 1,000 new jobs, including 500 new customer service roles at a new contact centre in Leeds city centre.

Create Homes, a Lancashire-based real estate developer, has moved to new premises in Blackpool. New jobs are expected as the firm continues to expand.

NES Global Talent
Specialist recruitment agency NES Global Talent has moved to new offices in Manchester, with new jobs expected.

CorrosionRADAR
CorrosionRADAR, a patented sensing technology firm, has completed a £1m funding round. The investment will allow the company to create ten new sales and marketing jobs.

Quadriga Contracts
Quadriga Contracts, a Cheshire-based specialist contractor, has opened a new office in Birmingham. The new hub will allow the firm to develop a closer working relationship with its growing client base in the Midlands, with new jobs expected.

WhisperClaims
WhisperClaims, a fintech firm based in Edinburgh, has launched software that simplifies the process of claiming R&D tax relief. The firm is planning to grow its team over the next 12 months.

LT Security
Malvern-based tech security company LT Security has received £30,000 in funding from the Midlands Engine Investment Fund. The firm will use the investment to further invest in R&D and recruit two new staff.

Radius Payment Solutions
Crewe-headquartered payment and fleet services firm Radius Payment Solutions has acquired fleet, transportation and construction insurance specialist the Burley Group. The firm intends to increase its sales operation, with new jobs expected.
