Rent Chief, a Birmingham-based property management platform, has received a £250,000 investment from the MEIF Proof of Concept & Early Stage Fund and a number of private investors. The firm intends to use the funding to launch its product, start a sales and marketing campaign and hire new staff.
North West recruitment firm Four Recruitment intends to double its turnover by the end of 2020 after securing a six-figure investment. The company intends to use the funding to launch a training and development programme for existing staff as well as increasing its headcount by 100% over the next 12 months.
Ewloe, North Wales-based business communication specialist Pescado increased turnover to nearly £11.5m in 2018. The firm hired 10 new staff in the last 12 months and intends to recruit a similar number in the next year.

Devon-based cybersecurity compliance specialist Securious has grown its team by 71% after an increase in demand for its services. New jobs are expected as the firm continues to expand.

Keyzo IT Solutions, a North Lincolnshire-based aviation software specialist, has launched a recruitment drive. The firm is looking for software developers at junior, mid and senior levels to join its team.
Nottingham-headquartered 3D mobile and mapping technology firm GeoSLAM is creating 20 new jobs in the city. The company is currently recruiting.

Law firm Taylor Rose TTKW has agreed to an eight-year lease for almost 14,000 sq ft of office space in Peterborough. New jobs are expected.
