Two entrepreneurs based in Worthing have secured a £60k investment for their business, The Great Porridge Company, after appearing on BBC2 show Dragons’ Den. The firm will use the funding to develop new products and increase sales. New jobs are expected as the firm executes its growth plans.
Spark Energy, an electricity and gas supplier based in Selkirk, is recruiting up to 100 new staff. New jobs will include customer-facing as well as administrative roles from entry-level to more experienced positions.
GoCo Group, an online comparison and information services business, has signed a deal with fintech business Bud to allow energy switching in banking apps. New jobs are expected.
