A guest lecture on the study programme Security Engineering was conducted by Mr. Mile Nunič, a public-gathering specialist. He is the author of several books, including the Public Assembly Act, with a commentary. His last book, published this year at the beginning of this year, titled “Securing public gatherings, from beginning to end”.
Mr. Nunič presented the normative regulation of the field of private security and the field of public gatherings to future security engineers.
He introduced concepts such as licenses for the protection of public gatherings, organization of public gatherings, the right to public gatherings, types of public gatherings (public gatherings and public events), etc. In the following, he presented in detail the organization of public gatherings and the duties of the organizers (documents, registration, management, etc.).
