Training in the framework of the program for the promotion of women’s entrepreneurship, which has been taking place throughout Slovenia for the third year, started at Academia. 41 women will be involved – potential female entrepreneurs from Eastern Slovenia.
The introductory workshop was visited by the representative of the Employment Service of the Republic of Slovenia, the representative of the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology of the Republic of Slovenia, Miša Osterc, and the head of the training program, Mrs. Marta Turk. Participants of the program were also welcomed by the head of the Academica, mag. Vida Perko.
The promotion of women entrepreneurship is a measure implemented by the Public Agency SPIRIT Slovenia in cooperation with the Ministry of Labor, Family, Social Affairs and Equal Opportunities, the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology and the Employment Service of Slovenia. Fresh entrepreneurs will be offered 1 million EUR in 2018, as is the case in 2019. The amount of the subsidy for each participant remains 5,000 euros. In 2018, the subsidy will be given to all participants of the spring training term, which will be held under the auspices of SPIRIT Slovenia.If the participants receive a subsidy, they must maintain their self-employment for a continuous period of at least 2 years. In the course of this year, the Institute will send 450 participants to the training. The first part of the training has started in the second half of April.
